President Viktor Yushchenko met in Cairo, Egypt with the Speaker of the People's Assembly, the lower house of Egyptian Parliament, Ahmed Fathi Sourour. President's press office reports.
At the meeting Speaker Fathi Sourour expressed his expectancies to President Yushchenko that Ukraine will achieve world’s support in recognition of the Great Famine the genocide against Ukrainians. He also accepted the invitation by the Ukrainian side to visit Ukraine and made an invitation to Verkhovna Rada Speaker Arseniy Yatsenyuk to visit the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The sides also discussed bilateral cooperation in agriculture, energy field, avionics and space exploration.
