Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine
Konstantyn Yeliseyev who is on working visit to Croatia,
has been accepted by Stjepan Mesić, President
of the Republic of Croatia.
The Ukrainian diplomat has conveyed Mesićthe personal message of President of
Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko, which contains the congratulation on invitation of Republic of Croatia to join the North Atlantic
Treaty Organization.
As the Embassy of Ukraine in Croatia informs, it is said in the
congratulation: "The Invitation in NATO, as well as election to Security
council of the United Nations, became significant successes of Croatia on its
way to the European and Euro Atlantic integration, the important recognition of
a role of your country in system of the international safety coordinates".
“Sharing your foreign policy
priorities concerning safety and stability in the Southeast Europe and the
world, I'm sure, that the Ukrainian-Croatian relations in which the high level
of trust and mutual respectis inherent, will become a guarantee of further dynamic development on the
way to single and prosperous Europe," the letter of the Ukrainian
President says.
In turn, Mesić
expressed gratitude and greeting to Yushchenko, having confirmed readiness to
visit Ukraine
with official visit in July, 2008.
