Сhairman of
the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk considers that postponement of NATO
decision on Ukraine’s
joining MAP will enable to stop excessive hysteria in the society concerning
this question. He stated during a meeting with representatives of the regional mass
media.
“In the
current situation this will give a possibility for us to concentrate and to
stop excessive hysteria both in the country and outside the country,” the
speaker said.
He also approved
the decision of the Bucharest summit concerning
MAP for Ukraine.
“This is
right that there was no rejection and there was taken a decision to consider
this question with a separate postponement,” Yatsenyuk noted.
As ForUm
earlier reported, the question on Ukraine’s
and Georgia’s
joining NATO Membership Action Plan is postponed to December.
