A Ukrainian military delegation headed by Chief of the Military Scientific Department of the Armed Forces General Staff Volodymyr Khyzhnyak is currently on a visit to Russia to discuss development of joint scientific researches in the field of military history. Cabinet's press office reports.
The meeting participants are planned to define possible directions of the joint scientific researches on military history. Apart from this, it is expected to reach accords to provide Ukraine's military historians with the possibility to work in archives of the Russian Defense Ministry and outline further directions of cooperation with the Institute of Military History of the Russian Defense Ministry.
Furthermore, the Ukrainian and Russian scientists will exchange experience in working out legal documents on military scientific activity on the basis of the two country's legislation.
The visit of the Ukrainian delegation will run to April 3.
