President Viktor Yushchenko on March 28 met with the President of the Institute for Liberty and Democracy, Hernando de Soto. President’s press office reports.
During the conversation Viktor Yushchenko has said to Mr. de Soto that Ukraine is highly interested in experience of Latin America countries in overcoming economic crises, realization of anti-inflation policy, fighting money laundering and shady economy.
From his part Mr. de Soto has affirmed readiness of the Institute to provide consultations about implementation of economic reforms to the Ukrainian side.
The parties also discussed current social and economic situation in Ukraine.
