The BYuT faction will leave the session’s hall and will not take part in the work of the Verkhovna Rada, if today the draft resolution on early elections of mayor of Kyiv and the Kyiv Council is not approved. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko told parliamentary journalists.

According to Tymoshenko, today’s vote on this resolution will be an exam for the coalition. “This will be an indicator of what is happening in the parliament,” the PM said.

According to her, it will demonstrate “who is bought by Chernovetsky in this hall”.

Tymoshenko has noted that some People’s deputies will explain their refusal to vote for early elections of Kyiv mayor because of imperfect legislation. “Corrupt politician will always find an explanation,” she said. Tymoshenko has noted that if the resolution is not approved “the BYuT faction leaves this parliament”.

According to her, the BYuT will return to the session hall only when the decision on early elections in Kyiv is approved. At the same time the PM has assured that the BYuT will not block the VRU work.
