The question on early election of Kyiv mayor must be introduced in the VRU agenda. Speaker of the VRU Arseniy Yatsenyuk stated at the conciliatory council on Monday, ForUm’s correspondent reports.
He has emphasized that Kyiv citizens stand for re-election of Kyiv mayor. “As the VRU chairman I demand the re-election to be only within the framework of the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine,” he said.
According to Yatsenyuk, the People’s deputies must hear the reports of the temporal investigation commission of the VRU. “The decision on early election of any mayor must be taken within the framework of the whole row of the laws of Ukraine, starting from the Constitution and ending with the law on local government,” the VRU speaker noted.
He has also informed that the question on early election in Kyiv can be considered in the VRU on Tuesday, if all conclusions and decisions of the VRU commission are prepared.
