Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for International and European integration Hrygory Nemyrya sees chances for Ukraine’s joining NATO Membership Action Plan in Bucharest during NATO summit in April. But he notes that the process of integration is more important than the terms of integration.

At the same time Nemyrya has noted that considerable period of time can pass from the moment of joining Membership Action Plan to the moment of joining NATO.

According to Nemyrya, the Membership Action Plan gives possibility to fasten the modernization of safety sector of Ukraine, which includes not only the Armed Forces.

At the same time, the vice Prime Minister drew attention to the fact that for today there is no dependence between joining NATO and joining EU.

“These are different processes, the European integration is more deep, serious and all-embracing process, which affects all components of the State, as well as the society, especially the economy sector,” Nemyrya emphasized.
