Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko has expressed doubts as to efficiency of the commission that will be investigating activity of Kyiv mayor Leonid Chernovetsky. Yulia Tymoshenko made the statement at a press conference. Cabinet's press service.

"They've created a commission to investigate corruption activity by Leonid Chernovetsky. It is good that they haven't included Chernovetsky and Dovhy in the commission, but all the others are present there," the government head said.

She noted that on Tuesday the democratic coalition in the Verkhovna Rada will vote for the resolution on holding early elections of mayor and council head in Kyiv. "On Tuesday, the democratic coalition should fulfill its obligations to Kyiv residents and call early elections of mayor and city council head 45 days after the Rada makes the decision," the premier noted. As she said, until the decision is passed by the parliament, the coalition cannot talk about fulfillment of its obligations to Kyiv residents.
