Poland is ready to support Ukraine’s joining NATO Membership Action Plan at the Bucharest summit. As ForUm’s correspondent reports, Poland President Lech Kaczyński stated after the Ukrainian-Polish negotiations on Friday.

“Poland will support Ukraine’s joining Membership Action Plan,” Kaczyński said.

He has emphasized that Poland acts sequentially. “For these two weeks, which are left before the summit in Bucharest, we will do particular steps,” the Poland President emphasized.

In his turn, President of Ukraine Yushchenko has stated that Poland performs “unique mission” in this question.

According to Yushchenko, during today’s negotiations Ukraine and Poland have agreed on what is necessary to do in these two weeks so that to obtain positive result at Bucharest summit.
