President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko granted a government dacha in Mezhyhirya in Novi Petrivtsi village to leader of Party of Regions Viktor Yanukovych. The ForUm reports referring to From-UA.

On July 9, 2007 President Viktor Yushchenko by phone congratulated Viktor Yanukovych, who was a PM then, on his birthday, and in some hours signed a secret resolution N148. That resolution gave right to Yanukovych to use a house on territory of Pushcha-Vodytsa complex. That complex also included residence in Mezhyhirya.

That resolution was not published in any official sources. The only official proof of that resolution was submitted by State affairs department.

Recently Yanukovych has admitted that he has dacha house in Mezhyhirya, granted by the President. Its area is 136.8 ha.

There is an opinion that it was a price for consent for early parliamentary elections. Because the same day of signing resolution, there was another document publicized on President’s web-site that charged Yanukovych to fulfill decision of NSDC and to finance early parliamentary elections.
