Deputy Head of the President’s Secretariat Maryna Stavniychuk forecasts that within six months the National Constitutional Council will elaborate new version of the Constitution of Ukraine. She stated at a briefing in the President’s Secretariat on Tuesday.
“I think this is the maximum term during which this question must be solved – around four-six months,” Stavniychuk said.
She thinks that during this space of time the professional and social discussions of new version of the Main law can take place.
Stavniychuk has noted that it doesn’t mean the preparation of new Constitution, where the main principles will be changed, but it means the reformation, improvement and complex renovation of the acting Main law.
