Official representative of the USA State department Shon McCormack has stated that the USA observes the problem on gas question of Ukraine and Russia.
“We will see the result of the negotiation process. Recently, we have expressed our attitude concerning the usage of commercial leverage for political aims achievement,” McCormack said.
Today the negotiations between “Gasprom” company and “Naftogas of Ukraine” company are being continued. On the eve “Gasprom” company has stated that Tuesday evening is deadline for Ukraine to pay its $1.5 billion natural gas debt, after which the Russian company threatens to reduce supplies .
