Chairman of the VRU Arseniy Yatsenyuk plans to hold a conciliatory meeting with leaders of parliamentary factions concerning deblocking of work of the parliament. He informed today at the briefing.

Yatsenyuk expressed assurance that for today all participants of political process are interested in finding a way out of the current situation.

At the same time Yatsenyuk refused to inform whether plenary session of the parliament takes place this week.

“Let’s wait conciliatory meeting and then to make a decision,” he said.

Yatsenyuk noted that the main issue is the opening of the second VRU session of VI convocation.

As a reminder, last week representatives of opposition blocked parliamentary podium, demanding to withdraw letter to NATO secretary concerning Ukraine’s joining Action plan on membership in NATO, signed by President Viktor Yushchenko, PM Yulia Tymoshenko and VRU speaker Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
