President Viktor Yushchenko met today in Davos with Leader of the Conservative Party of Great Britain David Cameron. President's press office reports.

During the talks President stressed that Ukraine is highly interested in developing cooperation with Great Britain especially in economic, investment and trade fields.

Sides also touched upon European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Ukraine. Viktor Yushchenko noted that the new Government and parliamentary coalition shall further on continue Ukraine’s course towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration. In this regard President expressed his gratitude to British side for continuous support of our country’s striving for the European Union membership as well as his expectancies that Great Britain will back up introduction of association and economic integration provisions to the new agreement between Ukraine and the EU. Yushchenko also thanked those Conservative Party deputies who supported the incentive of the British-Ukrainian All Party Parliamentary Group to honor Holodomor victims.
