It is proposed to endorse in Ukraine a procedure for the formation of food production prices that are not subject to Government regulation. Cabinet's press service reports.
Particularly, the prices will be set by way of introducing standard methods for their formation, and obtainment of objective information about production prices of the said goods. This initiative was included in a draft Cabinet of Ministers' resolution.
The procedure will make it possible to influence more effectively the pricing situation in appropriate markets in case of its aggravation.
Ukrainian consumer prices rose by 16.6% in 2007.
