People’s deputy of Ukraine of the sixth convocation, member of the OU-PSD faction Yuriy Karmazin considers that it is necessary to hold referendum so that to determine the position of Ukraine concerning joining NATO. He told in an interview with ForUm’s correspondent.
The People’s deputy noted that the OU-PSD didn’t adopt any document that the faction is “for” or “against” joining NATO.
“I think that it is necessary to take action plan concerning joining NATO. But I will not be against my people. If more then 50 % people decide that they need NATO, there will be my vote too. I will reflect opinion of people,” he stated.
