Tymoshenko didn't tell Yushchenko about her visit to Moscow

In Secretariat of the President of Ukraine there is no information about plans of Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko concerning her working visit to Moscow on January 23 this year.

As the press-service of the President informs, according to Deputy Head of the President's Secretariat Olexander Chaly, holding of the second sitting of the Ukrainian-Russian interstate commission in near future, chaired by the presidents, is priority of Head of the state Viktor Yushchenko in the Russian direction.

“According to item 6 of the regulations of the Commission, the sittings are held in turn in the Russian Federation and in Ukraine. The second sitting takes place in Moscow. In this context the working meeting of the heads of the governments of Ukraine and Russia is reasonable within the framework of the second session of the commission,” Chaly said.

The date of the second sitting is agreed for February 12, 2008.

As earlier informed, according to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, with the purpose of preparation of the second sitting of the Russian-Ukrainian interstate commission, chaired by the presidents of two countries, head of the government of the Russian Federation Viktor Zubkov is ready to accept Prime Minister of Ukraine Tymoshenko in Moscow on January 23.
