Today at 11.a.m. People’s deputies are going to hold conciliatory meeting of parliamentary factions in order to consider issue on continuation of the first VRU session of VI convocation
According to resolution of the parliament from December 28, 2007, in January 2008 committees of the VRU should elaborate and submit for consideration 592 draft bills to the parliament.
As a reminder, President Viktor Yushchenko forwarded official letter to the VRU chairman Arseny Yatsenyuk with request not to hold winter holiday for People’s deputies.
According to the President, next VRU session must be opened on January 22, but not in February as it was planned. Yushchenko considers that some week holidays just after recently formed parliament is not reasonable, taking into consideration a range of urgent tasks.
