The new Ukrainian Government faces the time of strategic decisions. This conviction was expressed by US Ambassador to Ukraine William Taylor during the conference dubbed "Ukraine and the West at the Start of 2008" organized by the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington, DC. Government's press service reports.
According to the Ambassador, integration into the Euro-Atlantic structures is one of the main challenges faced by the Ukrainian Government. Mr. Taylor emphasized that Ukrainians have the national idea, suggesting that it consists in European integration. The US diplomat also underlined that the present time is important for Washington to confirm its support for Ukraine.
By way on commenting on the newly elected Government of Ukraine, William Taylor expressed a conviction that the Cabinet of Ministers will demonstrate high working skills as a united team responsible for its steps.
