The Communist party of Ukraine didn’t take a decision on formation of the united opposition with the Party of Regions. Representative of the CPU Kateryna Samoylik stated on the air of the “Svoboda” radio.

“We didn’t take political decision concerning this question. We discussed this question at the presidium of the central commission and decided that such united opposition could take place only on the condition of determination of principle regulations, around which we could unite. But the Communist party of Ukraine didn’t take an official decision. These statements are only personal opinions of members of our party,” Samoylik stated.

“As our party is democratic one, every member can say his or her opinion,” she added.

Besides, Samoylik has noted that the Communist party will not support new version of the law on the Cabinet of Ministers, which President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko has introduced into the parliament.

As earlier reported, on January 19 CPU member Olexander Holub stated that the CPU was ready to sign agreement on united opposition with Party of Regions.
