Political scientist Volodymyr Fesenko considers that there is no split of Party of Regions, but there are some “cracks”, which are very noticeable. He said today in scope of online conference on ForUm.
“Disorder and hesitation are observed in Party of Regions. Not everybody has assurance in victory of Viktor Yanukovych during Presidential elections. Without assurance in victory and corresponding motivation it is very difficult to win,” he said.
According to Fesenko, the person who strives to be a president must show assurance of it. During last press conference Yanukovych did not show persistence and much desire,” he said.
At the same time, Fesenko considers that it is too early to “write off” either Yanukovych or Party of Regions. “They have the highest political ratings with much potential. Everything depends on them,” Fesenko added.
