The growth of consumer prices in Ukraine this year will exceed the Government's negative forecast to hit 16%, Finance Minister Viktor Pynzenyk told the press, cabinet press office reports.
In November, the Cabinet of Minister changed the inflation forecast for 2007, having worsened it to 14.5%.
In January - November 2007, Ukrainian inflation was 14.2%, and in November it grew to 2.2%, the State Statistics Committee says.
The Government's draft state budget for 2008 has inflation index of 9.6%.
