People’s deputy of Ukraine Raisa Bohatyryova has agreed to work as secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. People’s deputy, member of the Party of Regions, Yaroslav Sukhy stated in an interview with journalists.
According to him, Bohatyryova has already signed the application for “job in the NSDC.”
Answering the question, whether the Party of Regions considers question on her exclusion from the party, Sukhy answered: “For what purpose?”
He has said, according to the legislation, within 20 days Bohatyryova must resign from the position of People’s deputy, and stop her membership in the Party of Regions, “because the NSDC secretary, as well as the Interior Minister and chairman of the Security Service can’t be members of parties.”
