The Finance Ministry has prepared a new draft national budget for 2008, the Government's press service reported.
Finance MInister Viktor Pynzenyk noted on necessity to adopt state budget by the end of the current year in order citizens to get pensions and salaries. "The country must enter New year with new budget," he said. According to Pynzenyk, despite short terms for budget preparation, Finance Ministry has coped with this issue successfully.
Finance Minister Viktor Pynzenyk noted that the Ministry couldn't pass the draft budget prepared by the Government of Yanukovych, as it failed to consider a new gas price and important social initiatives.
The new draft budget will be announced at a session of the Government on December 26.
