Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko does not intend to lobby position for closing of Zasyadko mine. She said yesterday in scope of her visit to Donetsk region.

“The government treats work of your mine very seriously, and I will not stand for closing of the mine,” she said, addressing the staff of the mine.

Tymoshenko noted that aim of her meeting with working collective was clarification of all problems which the mine, miners and their families face.

Tymoshenko informed that reforms in coal industry will be aimed at improvement of situation on labour protection, pension provision increase of prestigiousness of miner’s labour.

According to Tymoshenko, the working group of the government will start improvement of legislation in this sphere next week.

Tymoshenko also offered working collectives to delegate their representatives to the working group for preparation of qualified draft bills.
