Deputy head of President’s Secretariat Ihor Pukshyn forecasts that the VRU will adopt draft bill on cancellation of people’s deputies immunity in early 2008. He said today at the press conference.
“I hope that one of the first draft bills in the VRU will be cancellation of People’s deputies immunity,” he said.
According to Pukshyn, adoption of this law will allow people’s deputies to be equal as citizens of Ukraine.
As a reminder, in September of the current year OU-PSD collected 5 million of signature of citizens who supported cancellation of People’s deputies immunity.
Earlier Vyacheslav Kyrylenko leader of OU-PSD faction leader forecast that People’s deputies immunity would be cancelled by the end of February 2008.
