Deputy Chairman of the CEC Andry Magera considers that on Tuesday issue on registration of new People’s deputies can be considered. He said that yesterday in an interview with “5 channel”.
Answering the question when new 14 People’s deputies will be registered instead of those People’s deputies who became Ministers, Magera has noted that preliminary term is next Tuesday.
“On Tuesday CEC will consider all necessary documents for registration of the People’s deputies,” he said.
He also noted that despite difficult election campaign and emotions during early parliamentary elections, CEC members would fulfill their duties properly.
Answering the question on possible pressure on CEC or some of its members, he said that some expressions of People’s deputies were incorrect, especially in April of the current year, but CEC is not going to cringe before anybody. It is an independent State body which must provide rights of subjects of election process.
