Today in the parliament People’s deputy from OU-PSD faction Vyacheslav Kyrylenko congratulated all Ukrainians on day of St. Mykola (St. Nicolas) and wished nice presents and good day, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
Kyrylenko stressed that yesterday democratic coalition proved again its effectiveness.
He reminded that yesterday the PM and composition of the government were elected.
According to Kyrylenko, the next step will be adoption of the state budget 2008. He promised the budget would have social initiatives of the President Viktor Yushchenko.
He also noted that next year should be a year of adoption of new code, reform of local authorities and other significant issues.
Kyrylenko has noted that coalition is ready to vote for deputies VRU chairman but will not make concessions to its principles. OU-PSD faction is ready to support any candidature for position of the first vice-speaker from PR or Lytvyn bloc, but not from CPU.
Moreover, Kyrylenko informed that parliament must vote for dismissal of those People’s deputies who are appointed Ministers and will work in the government. New People’s deputies from OU-PSD election lists will replace them.
