An international children's art project of the Unilever and the British "Tate Modern" Gallery under support of the Education and Science Ministry, is underway in Ukraine. Cabinet's press service reports.
Within the framework of the project, which attracts a lot of people from over 40 countries, Kharkiv hosted the competition "Beauty and Contradiction: Different Worlds". The topic of the competition was art of Columbian painter Doris Salcedo, whose paintings have been displayed at the "Tate Modern".
Similar projects will be underway in Kyiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Lviv. Three winners will be sent to St Petersburg for participation in cultural projects. The absolute winner of the competition will obtain an opportunity to display his paintings at the "Tate Modern".
