Lytvyn thinks that Rada can elect Tymoshenko without Yushchenko

Lytvyn’s bloc leader Volodymyr Lytvyn thinks that presence of the UKrainain President Viktor Yushchenko in the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada during the consideration of candidacy of Yulia Tymoshenko for a position of the Prime Minister is not necessary. Lytvyn stated in an interview with parliamentary journalists.

“If the President had submitted new candidacy, he had had to argue his submission, and as the President submitted candidacy of Yulia Tymoshenko again, then, to my mind, his presence is not necessary in the hall,” Lytvyn said.
