The VRU can consider appointment of Yulia Tymoshenko to the position of PM today.
Yesterday chairman of the parliament Arseny Yatsenyuk stated that heads of parliamentary factions must to define the way of voting for PM. At that he also added that voting for PM must be put on today’s agenda as urgent one.
According to OU-PSD leader Yury Lutsenko, yesterday the decision was made that PM would be elected at once after parliament committees and their heads are elected. The delay in electing PM and in forming the government is caused by the opposition which at first blocked this process physically and now by its lack of agreement on distribution of parliamentary committees
Yesterday coalition also insisted on fact of interference into the voting system “Rada”, despite results of investigation of interdepartmental commission that did not fixed any interference.
As a reminder, on December 11 BYuT leader Yulia Tymoshenko was not elected to the PM position. 225 People’s deputies voted for her. Coalition considered that voting cards of some People’s deputies from OU-PSD and BYuT did not worked, that’s why voting process for PM was falsified. On December 12 the President Viktor Yushchenko re-submitted candidacy of Yulia Tymoshenko to the position of PM.
