Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk has no doubts that Yulia Tymoshenko will be elected to the post of the Prime Minister of Ukraine. He stated in an interview on TV channel “Inter” on Sunday evening.

In particular, answering the question, whether it is possible that candidacy of Yulia Tymoshenko doesn’t obtain necessary quantity of votes, Yatsenyuk said: “It is practically unreal.”

According to the speaker, non supporting of the candidacy of Tymoshenko can lead to the split of the coalition.

At the same time Yatsenyuk reminded that there were assumptions concerning the lack of votes during his election to the post of the VRU speaker. “And there were much more risks as the vote was secret and many People’s deputies didn’t show their ballots,” he said.

Yatsenyuk doesn’t exclude that in case Tymoshenko is not elected to the post of the PM, he will resign form the post of the parliamentary speaker. “Maybe it will be correct,” Yatsenyuk noted.
