At the moment the Party of Regions supports the candidacy of Martynyuk to the post of the first vice speaker. As ForUm’s correspondent reports, People’s deputy from the Party of Regions Vasyl Kyselyov stated in an interview with journalists.
He has noted that they support Martynyuk in accordance with agreements of leaders of the factions of the PR, the CPU and the bloc of Lytvyn.
Besides, People’s deputy has reminded that yesterday representative of the OU-PSD Vyacheslav Kyrylenko “firmly and categorically said that coalition would support Martynyuk under no circumstances. ‘We understand that the game has started again, it is the next example of impudence when they start to dictate us whom we should nominate to this post,” he emphasized.
Answering the journalists’ question whether the Party of Regions intends to nominate Raisa Bohatyryova to this post, Kyselyov noted that this question had not been yet discussed.
