Bilateral meeting of President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko and President of the republic of Poland Lech Kaczyński took place. During the meeting two Presidents discussed topical political and economic questions of the bilateral relations between Ukraine and Poland.
In particular, Ukraine and Poland plan to sign the intergovernmental agreement on preparation for the European Football Championship of 2012.
According to President Yushchenko, this agreement must provide coordination of all necessary actions of two states on preparation for Euro-2012.
At the end of the meeting Viktor Yushchenko presented the order of Yaroslav the Wise of the first grade to Lech Kaczyński for “substantial personal contribution into Ukrainian-Polish relations strengthening”.
