President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko considers that period between existence of old government and appointment of new one must not do much harm to people.
“Creation of democratic coalition and election of new chairman of the VRU is a reliable base for effective work of legislative body and stable political situation in the country,” the President said.
He has noted that next key task of the coalition is formation of effective government which will be able to undertake challenges of social-economic sphere, in particular, high rates of inflation, corruption, custom, gas supply and price for energy supply.
“President, coalition and government must unite around solution of these and other tasks. I call parliamentary coalition to form government as soon as possible. I am convinced that new government will be able to solve all problems it faces and also those it has from previous government,” the President noted.
