Speaker of the parliament Arseniy Yatsenyuk stated at today’s VRU sitting that he had submitted to President Viktor Yushchenko the candidacy of Yulia Tymoshenko to the post of the Prime Minister of Ukraine. ForUm’s correspondent reports.
As earlier reported, on Tuesday evening the parliament of Ukraine approved the candidacy of Yatsenyuk to the post of the VRU chairman. 227 People’s deputies of Ukraine supported such decision.
Previously the coalition nominated Yulia Tymoshenko to the post of the Prime Minister. Such decision was taken at the sitting of the democratic coalition on Tuesday.
