The BYuT faction will support the candidacy of Arseniy Yatsenyuk to the post of the VRU chairman by all 156 votes. People’s deputy from the BYuT, Valeriy Pysarenko stated in an interview with journalists on Thursday, ForUm’s correspondent reports.
At the same time he couldn’t give an assessment of professional qualities of Yatsenyuk, explaining that Yatsenyuk has never been the head of the VRU and that’s why it is too early to discuss such question.
Answering the question how President Viktor Yushchenko managed to persuade those, who didn’t sign the agreement, the People’s deputy has answered that the President is the strong enough figure in the structure of the “Our Ukraine” party, and he has found arguments for each.
Beside, according to Pysarenko, the Head of the Stated must make it clear for members of the “Our Ukraine” that the imperative mandate is not the distant future and those who do not fulfill decisions of the faction will be deprived of possibility to work in the parliament.
