For today there are more than 2546 public organizations of Ukrainian status, 929 charitable organizations and 141 political parties in Ukraine.
Moreover, 22 thousand of local unions, more than 4 thousand of local charitable organizations and 154 structured unions of political parties are legalized by Justice bodies.
According to Justice Minister Olexander Lavrynovych, public organizations of professional direction are most actively created. They are the following: unions of doctors, teachers, layers and so on. The next in the row are public organizations of health and sport directions. Youth, veterans, invalids education organizations are also widely spread.
Lavrynovych also noted that the structure of non-governmental organizations in Ukraine totally corresponds to structure of same organizations in Europe.
