The bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko and the Our Ukraine - People’s Self-Defense bloc will insist on the VRU session holding not on Thursday, November 29, as it is planned, but on Tuesday, November 27. Deputy leader of the BYuT Mykola Tomenko stated on the air of the TV “channel 5”
“We will try to continue the work of the VRU on Tuesday, as it is foreseen by the regulations,” he said.
Tomenko has rejected the statements of the PR’s representatives that the break in the VRU work till November 29 was announced as the result of the consultations among all factions. He has reminded that before the election of the VRU leadership this role is performed by the Temporary Presidium, consisted of representatives from all political forces.
“The next session would have been held on Tuesday, 10 a.m.,” Tomenko said. The question on plenary session postponing would have been put for voting by all the VRU. And that’s why we will do all possible in order the session to be held on Tuesday.”
