President Viktor Yushchenko sent a letter to Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych emphasizing that reforming of housing and communal services is drawn back by number of negative factors, President’s press office reports.
The Governmentis todo some concrete steps towards solving communal issues including:
- improvement of legal basis in the field of housing and communal services
- improvement of drinking water quality
- discontinuance of renting water-supply facilities
- adjustment of cooperation between water-supply and heating-supply facilities
- discontinuance of irrational use of strategic groundwater sources by different water-supply facilities
President requested that PM informs him on the results of the work before December 20, 2007
