Today members of government honored memory of dead miners in Zasyadko mine with minute of silence, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych stated that it was a horrible accident the consequences of which would be overcome for many years.
Yanukovych considers that the accident shows that measures that could prevent catastrophe, had been taken not in time.
He said that despite the government every year increases expenses for labour protections, it is not enough. “I understand that disaster does not spare anyone, but there are modern technologies. We must consider issue on labour protection in coal sphere that is the most dangerous,” he stressed.
The PM charged Ministers to control order in all directions of labour protection.
