On Tuesday the working group on preparation for the first session of the VRU of the sixth convocation has affirmed the plan of the ceremonial parliaments’ sitting holding which is to take place on November 23. The resignation of the Cabinet of Ministers, headed by Viktor Yanukovych, is foreseen by the agenda. At the first sitting the People’s deputies also intend to elect the temporary presidium and the returning board on speaker’s election.
The questions of the first parliament’s sitting will be considered in order, established by the VRU regulations.
First of all, the People’s deputies will form the temporary presidium.
After the presidium is formed, the Cabinet of Ministers will resign. The Party of Regions preferred not to discuss this topic with journalists. But the BYuT insists that Friday will be the last day of the Cabinet of Yanukovych.
The discussion of the question on the returning board on speaker’s election took the most of the time. As a reminder, according to the regulations, the speaker is elected by means of the secret ballot. Raisa Bohatyryova has informed journalists that the composition of the returning board will be formed in such way: one representative from 20 People’s deputies of each faction.
