As of November 20, 88 bodies of miners, killed as a result of accident in Donetsk mine, are found.
According to Emergency Ministry, 77 bodies out of 88 are delivered on the surface and are being on forensic-medical examination. The fortune of 12 miners is still unknown.
31 miners are hospitalized with heavy poisoning by mine gas.
The works on mitigation of some spots of fire are being carried out. Nine departments of State militarized rescure service are involved. On the place of the tragedy governmental commission on investigation of reasons and mitigations of consequences, headed by vice PM Andry Klyuev, is working.
As a reminder, on November 18 at 3.11 a.m. gas explosion had happened at the coalmine named after A. Zasyadko in Donetsk region. The explosion happened as a result of blast of aeromethane mixture in 14th conveyor drift while boring.
President Viktor Yushchenko declared November 20, 2007 as a national day of mourning in response to tragic accident in the Zasyadko mine.
