In Donetsk under the head of President Viktor Yushchenko the session of the State commission on anthropogenic-ecology security and emergencies is held.
The main subject of the session is investigation of reasons and liquidation of consequences of accident in Donetsk mine happened on November 18.
“Tragedy in Donetsk is next challenge not only for coal industry but for the whole State power,” Yushchenko noted. “I am sure that all politicians must demonstrate state policy. It is a great tragedy, we must learn a lesson from it,” he added.
The President called to liquidate consequences of tragedy as soon as possible and give help to suffered families. The President said that the issue on security of miners must be at the center of attention.
Moreover, Yushchenko called on Coal industry Ministry to elaborate action plan on reorganization of coal branch for 2008, including secure works.
