Ukraine’s government is interested in start of parliament work as soon as possible and in creation of effective mechanism of cooperation of legislative, executive and judicial branches of power and President of Ukraine. Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych said that today at the Cabinet session, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.
“That’s why we will do everything possible for the VRU to start working as soon as possible and effectively,” he said.
According to Yanukovych, taking into consideration work of the working group on preparation for the VRU session, it is obvious that work of the VRU will be difficult. Yanukovych explained it by the fact that political forces cant reach understanding.
Yanukovych is sure that politicians must agree and find understanding for the State and people. “If this interest is important, I think we will agree. If interest is in positions and portfolios, then there will be problems,” he said.
Yanukovych noted that it is for the first time when adoption of the state budget – 2008 is under threat. “For today economy is quite stable. But we must go ahead, adopt state program, make reforms. Political struggle must not prevent the country from its development,” he said.
According to him, the government must show its “stableness” and must fulfill everything that is planned.
