European commission has offered Ukraine and Russia to help in liquidation of consequences of storm in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, but has not yet got a reply. The representative of the European commission Barbara Helfferich said that today.
“We have not received answers from Russia and Ukraine,” she said.
EU representative said that the EU still is ready to send group of experts to zone of disaster and also render other assistance.
She noted that coasts of the Black sea in Romania and Bulgaria are not suffered much. Coasts of Ukraine and Russia suffered the most.
As a reminder, on November 11 as a result of heavy storm about twenty ships were shipwrecked. About two thousand tons of black oil were spilled into the sea in the region of Kerch channel. Some sailors are died, many are considered missing.
