On Tuesday at the sitting of the working group on preparation for the first session of the parliament of the sixth convocation the Party of Regions will again propose the candidacy of communist Adam Martynyuk for the post of the group chairman. As ForUm’s correspondent reports, one of the leaders of the Party of Regions, Raisa Bohatyryova, stated in an interview with journalists.

“From the very beginning we proposed to introduce changes to the agenda of the working group. As our decision was supported by the majority, we agreed to consider a question on election of the head of the working group,” she told.

Bohatyryova reminded that the Party of Regions and the bloc of Lytvyn proposed the candidacy of Adam Martynyuk. “We argued our position clearly: he is the most prepared People’s deputy who for many yeas at joints of political crises has held the working meetings and has an experience of taking decisions and ability not to politicize the work of the preparation group of the People’s deputies,” Bohatyryova explained.

According to her, the election of two co-chairpersons breaks the regulations of the VRU. “According to the regulations, chairman, deputy chairman and secretary must be elected,” Bohatyryova emphasized.
