Victims of gas blast in Dnipropetrovsk happened on October 13, ask President Viktor Yushchenko to appoint control commission on check of allocation and distribution of charitable funds. The letter of victims to the President says.
“We ask to publicize all accounts on which money are transferred," the letter says.
People are not aware of sums of all of charitable payments and contributions. Suffered people in gas blast noted in their letter to the President that funds, allocated by the State, are not enough to compensate lost property. That’s why they hope for the President’s help concerning adequate distribution of charitable funds.
As a reminder, on October 13 about 11 a.m. Dnipropetrovsk had suffered from natural gas explosion. As a result of gas explosion a section of a block of flats in Dnipropetrovsk was destroyed. The blast also damaged seven one-stored and two multi-stored buildings. 23 people were killed.
