President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko has not decided whom he wants to see on the position of the PM. The leader of Lytvyn bloc Volodymyr Lytvyn said.
“It is very responsible decision for him,” he said in an interview to “5 channel”. According to Lytvyn, for the President both Yulia Tymoshenko and Viktor Yanukovych are unacceptable candidatures for Prime Minister position. Lytvyn noted that the PM must be an ally to Yushchenko but at the same time it must be comfortable for Yushchenko to communicate with him/her.
Lytvyn also noted that voting of Lytvyn bloc for PM would depend on what team would be proposed by the candidature for PM. In case there is quota system again…we will not participate in this,” he said.
As a reminder, on October 15 BYuT and “Our Ukraine-People’s Self-Defense” bloc signed agreement on coalition formation. On October 17 they publicized this agreement.
According to agreements, BYuT will get position of PM and economic bloc, OU-PSD will have humanitarian bloc, law-enforcement ministers are quota of the President.
